Welcome to the Riverview Learning Center where every student is recognized and treated as an individual. Our building commonly referred to as the "RLC" houses three different programs:

• PARADE  (Parents and Riverview Actively Delivering Education)

• CLIP (Contracted Learning for Individual Pacing)

• CLEAR (Cyber Learning Education Alternative at Riverview)

 

Our overall mission is to provide educational opportunities for students and families who are seeking alternative ways for learning in an alternative environment. The RLC offers a quality educational choice for students in all grade levels kindergarten through graduation and students are able to receive a diploma from the Riverview School District.  Depending on the program you select and your goals as a family or as a student, we emphasize individual planning and goal setting. Each program is unique in its structure, design, implementation, daily schedule, and grade level served.

Dedicated staff members work with students to assist them with personal and academic growth. At the RLC, there is a sense of community that provides both support and opportunity. Both students and staff strive toward a common academic purpose as well as a focus on teamwork, participation, self-respect, and respect for others. Additionally, the current state-of-the art facility located in the town of Carnation, was built specifically for alternative learning and opened in the fall of 2011.
