CHOICE Program

CHOICE (Choosing Heightened Options for Individually Centered Education)

The mission of CHOICE is for students to improve their school commitment through increased academic, personal, social, and career growth. CHOICE provides 9th and 10th grade students with an educational alternative that is focused on real-life, hands-on, career-based learning within a smaller classroom setting. CHOICE staff members aim to be character builders and excellent role models for students to become responsible, productive members of society.

CHOICE curriculum is oriented toward two integrated areas: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Humanities (Language Arts, Social Studies, Social Sciences, and Arts). Health and Physical Education will be offered as well. Students will be highly involved in applying what they learn through various service learning and career exploration experiences in the community and region.
